Join The Great Pumpkin Food FIGHT. Fighting For Those Who Need Food

We're called to feed those who are hungry and to be stewards of our world. This Halloween -- with U. S. food pantry shelves often going empty before Thanksgiving, and with 800 million people worldwide going hungry each day -- maybe we could reevaluate the $800 million our nation spends annually on Pumpkins. Maybe we can help fund for restocking pantry shelves and growing food globally. Maybe we'll even reduce harmful methane emissions, at the same time. Please check out this video. GIFT ESPOUSES AND SUPPORTS CHRISTIAN UNITY, WHICH JESUS PRAYED FOR AND THE FATHER DESIRES

Jesus was always right, and He specifically prayed that His Church would be united.  In fact, He warned -- correctly -- that a divided Church would not be as effective as needed and even faces the risk of ruin.

History actually confirms this reality of how ineffectual a divided Church can be, as noted by the perspective shared by the Chief of the Nez Perce Reservation to the left.


To support the unity Jesus prayed for and is seeking from today's Christians and His Church, the cross-denominational  GIFT ministry provides resources using Protestant NIV Bible Text which have also received Catholic Imprimaturs.


And let's be more loving to one another and not risk being "on the wrong side of God" in this important issue of unity. NOTE: Acknowledging that there's often discord being expressed across and about denominations over theological differences, we may want to consider that Scripture says our loving God actually  'hates' those who do this: "These six things the Lord hates: (including) ...one who sows discord among brethren."   Proverbs 6: 16-19, NKJV

GIFT Operations support unmet material needs in Haiti, Malawi and Philippines with efficacious, research-based solutions, including training for illiterate women to start sewing and soap manufacturing businesses; optimizing the farming of climate-smart, water-smart and nutrition-smart sweet potatoes and their edible leaves (the crop that yields the most calories per acre); installing solar and storage systems and solar irrigation systems; establishing rabbit breeding businesses; providing water filtration to avert Cholera; and more.

Supporting Global Innovation and Ministry

GIFT supports our affiliated entities, Honey For Haiti, in bringing solar and storage, rabbit breeding and other solutions to Haiti, as well as Lifestyle Management International, Inc. our subsidiary advancing innovative solutions to pressing issues globally.

THE NEED TO AFFECT TRANSFORMATIONS IS CRITICAL TO ALL CHRISTIANS


GIFT helps all Christians fulfill the call for transformations articulated by numerous faith leaders.


As the United Methodist Church notes, "The Mission of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the TRANSFORMATION of the world."


The USCCB Document on the Laity, "Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord," states: "The risen Lord calls everyone to labor in a world that must be TRANSFORMED in view of the final coming of the Reign of God; the Holy Spirit empowers all with various GIFTS and ministries for the building up of the Body of Christ... All of the baptized are called to work toward the TRANSFORMATION of the world... All of the faithful are called in various ways to share in the Church’s mission of announcing the reign of God and TRANSFORMING the world in the light of Christ.”


Pope Francis indicated in his first Sunday Mass homily, "With Christ, we can TRANSFORM ourselves and the world."


To help achieve these goals, GIFT prayerfully seeks to provide Spiritual Support; Material Support; and Church and Ministry Support via a cross-denominational ministry that unites the Church in the TRANSFORMATIVE, selfless love of Christ for the good of humanity.


Early in GIFT's history, Archbishop Elden Curtiss endorsed GIFT as “sorely needed” for our innovations in spiritual and material resources. GIFT has since received multiple Catholic Church Imprimaturs and an Ecclesiastical Permission.


Nazarene Church District Superintendent, Larry White, also encouraged the creation of GIFT while GIFT's founder was serving as a Licensed Minister in the Nazarene denomination. 


Excitedly, the Vatican's Laudato Si Action Platform just published a GIFT document on two faith pillars, GIFT and TRANSFORMATION, as a "Resource" for their network of organizations concerned about and supporting the "Cry of the Poor" and the "Cry of the Earth." This resource encourages focusing on these two faith pillars as a way of keeping the spirit, love and joy of Christmas alive all year long.
